As a Golf professional I was awarded PGA Advanced Professional status through APAL ( Award for Previous Achievement and Learning ) by The PGA in 2013. As a Golf Coach / Teacher I have introduced many thousands of people to the game of various age and ability learning

them to play the game and or improve their golf games both in the UK and Overseas.

 My main aim as a PGA Advanced Golf Professional is to introduce as many new people to the game of golf as is possible in the Perthshire area using my expertise as a golf coach whilst improving the golf games of current golfers in Perthshire and at The Blairgowrie Golf Club as a member of The Professional Golfers Association.

 

I have good all round experience from working initially in Scotland before going overseas to the Netherlands where I worked for 12 years coaching golfers of all abilities on a full time basis in all aspects of the game in 'GolfSchool' and 'Golf Academy' environments coaching golfers in a structured way to Learn to Play golf or Improve their Golf through Private Lessons, Groups Lessons, Corporate golf weeks in both Holland and Spain during the winter period. I have invested in myself as a golf performance coach by attending both PGA and <Titleist Performance Institute> education seminars throughout Europe.

During my time in Inverness I did a great deal of coaching at other golf clubs in the area who did not have any access to a golf coach.

As an amateur I was a member of The Blairgowrie Golf Club being their mens champion in 1986. I represented Blairgowrie in both local and national tournaments, as well as being a boys and mens county team member for a few years. I was Perth and Kinross boys champion in both 1984 + 1985.

 

 

 

PROFESSIONAL

 

Due to work commitments I played on a limited basis on both the Tartan Tour in Scotland and the PGA Holland Tour in the Netherlands

 

 

 

LANGUAGES

 

I can count on Dutch as a second language, after English ( as well as basic German  )
